The storm season along the coastal regions of NSW is usually between October and April.
During these months severe storms, often accompanied by hail, high winds and torrential rain, can strike an unsuspecting community with very little warning, threatening life and destroying homes and personal possessions.
Whilst the greatest risk exists during this period, you should always remember that a severe storm can strike your area at almost any time during the year summer or winter.
